AHHHHH GIMMIE

Okay, so I have seen these everywhere. And i mean, literally everytime I go out of my house I can see someone wearing these. Initially, I was like "I don't want them because everyone has them" and I was going to ignore how goo they looked and how vintage (I love everything vintage). But then I was having an 80s movie night and I fell in love with that fashion era again and I am desperate to own a pair.

So here are the shoes I am just about to order:

These shoes are amazing. They're from Nike and cost £70, which is okay, as shoes go (plus there was free delivery).

I know Santa's already gone, but could he come back and buy me these?

Just gaze at them.

Looking Glass: Zoella

WASSUP

So I was bored and looking up fashion hauls on youtube (I don't know why, but i love watching them) and I found this youtuber called zoella280390. I watched a couple of her videos and now i'm officially in love with her (...slash her brother who is so hot and funny in the video I saw of him). Also another point for Zoella is that she's English and always says the prices in her haul video which is so useful it's not even funny.

Anyway, I think the way she does her videos is really cute and friendly - which is hard to convey when talking to a camera - and she shops where I shop (except I shop loooads at Topshop and Urban Outfitters, and I think she wouldn't go to Urbans because it is crazy expensive). She presents everything really clearly and doesn't just stick to the same old stuff from each store (and she also does make-up tutorials and random vlogs, which are actually really fun to watch). I guess it's an asumption that you have to like her style to like her videos, but I'm pretty sure I'd still like them even if they weren't my thing.

So check her out:

That's it from me. I'll be coming back with some christmasy stuff soon, so don't worry!! I leave you with this quote that's been stuck in my head all day, so I thought I'd share, "she's fabulous, but she's evil."

Trending: Skater Skirts

Okay, so I know this is a bit late in the game, but I've been seeing these everywhere so I had to post something abut them. So...
Making a comeback from trying to get out there back in 2007, the skater skirt has finally become one of Winter's essentials. Inspired by the ever popular figure skater dress, this skirt is being seen in every fashion store and on every online clothes shop. Wear these with winter-think tights or pretty much anything, these skirts will class up any outfit (or with the leather one, twist sexy and classy at the same time).

"When choosing a skater skirt, I would recommend either a solid color, or a subtle print such as a soft floral or lace. The shape of the skirt itself draws attention to the wearer and a very loud print could be too much." -Elite Magazine

Singapore a-go-go

Singapore is amazing! I went to Singapore for a week in half term, and it was so hot and humid but there was no sun so I didn't even get a tan. It's such a tiny city, having basically only two main roads, that it was super quick to get around on the metro; but it was so beautiful because of all the greenery (it is called the 'fine' city) that you totally wanted to walk everywhere (which was impossible - I am not a good sweaty person).

Also while away, I visited my 2nd home. The rooms were still as cosy as before.

This is Orchard Road. It's basically Singapore's version of Oxford Street.

Okay, so that was my trip.

What was really fun about going to Singapore was seeing the ways they incorporated Western and Asian fashion together, including a lot of clear influences from Australia (seeing as it's so close and many people immigrate from there to Singapore).Obviously, there were still loads of fashion crises going on, but in the heat, who can blame them (actually, I can blame them - something fashionable is still fashionable when sweaty and sticky).

Singapore is becoming a bigger and bigger competitor for fashion, with designers such as  Max Tan and Dzojchen gaining more attention in the outer world, thanks to fashion shows and festivals happening increasingly since 2006. Reality shows like 'Supermodelme' and 'Asia's Next Top Model' increase the western world's awareness of asian fashion influences - many coming directly from Singapore; and fashion festivals (eg. the annual Audi Fashion Festival) showcase new collections from Singpore, such as RAOUL, CLEO and NAO. Because of being less well known then the fashion capitals - London, Paris, New York; Singapore can be more adventurous with its fashion and test the water with different designs that later become widely liked and accepted.
Anyway, that's it about Singapore.I'm outtie.

Movie Style Crush: Spring Breakers

Okay, so this movie doesn't come out for like, another five months, but I already love it. Yeah the clothes (when they are wearing them - I know half the movie is just them in bikinis) are pretty standard for teenage/early-20s girls but I am actually in love with some of them (one of their shirts is already on my Christmas Wishlist).

(ignore the snapbacks in this one)

Yeah, some of the clothes aren't that great - it's all pretty normal beach wear; but whatever, I love it anyway.
